SapphireConnect Terms of Use

Last updated May 30, 2026

These terms govern access to SapphireConnect, a political CRM, actions, and email activation platform operated by Sapphire Strategies. Client agreements, campaign-specific instructions, provider policies, and applicable law may impose additional obligations.

Authorized Use

SapphireConnect is provided for lawful outbound political, civic, advocacy, and donor prospecting email operations. Users may only access the platform for clients, campaigns, or organizations they are authorized to support.

Audience Responsibility

Users are responsible for the origin, accuracy, permissions, and legal usability of audiences uploaded to or imported into SapphireConnect. Purchased, appended, or third-party lists must be handled according to applicable law, contractual limits, and sender policies.

Sending Practices

Users must not use SapphireConnect to send deceptive, fraudulent, unlawful, harassing, or malicious content. Message headers, sender identity, subject lines, and disclaimers must accurately identify the sender and campaign where required.

Suppressions and Opt-Outs

Unsubscribe, suppression, complaint, and bounce controls may not be bypassed. SapphireConnect may block or pause sending when recipient protection, provider policy, reputation, or compliance signals require it.

Infrastructure Isolation

SapphireConnect may isolate clients, sending domains, provider accounts, IP pools, and campaigns to protect deliverability. Sapphire Strategies may throttle, pause, retire, or rotate infrastructure when reputation or provider risk is detected.

Data Central Boundary

SapphireConnect maintains client-scoped CRM records for each workspace. It does not consolidate people across unrelated clients inside the SapphireConnect product. When Data Central is connected, SapphireConnect may consume approved exports and send learning, append, activity, and quality signals back to Data Central without requiring ordinary SapphireConnect users to access Data Central directly.

Data Processing, Identity Resolution, and Improvement

Clients authorize Sapphire Strategies and SapphireConnect to process uploaded, imported, appended, submitted, and generated data to operate the platform, resolve identities within a client workspace, deduplicate client-scoped records, validate and normalize contact information, maintain suppression and consent records, and improve Data Central and related Sapphire Strategies systems. Where Data Central is enabled and strict matching standards are met, SapphireConnect may send append/create/update signals to Data Central. This includes using engagement, submission, delivery, bounce, complaint, unsubscribe, list-source, and form-response data to improve matching, data quality, deliverability controls, segmentation intelligence, fraud and abuse detection, and platform reliability. Clients also authorize Sapphire Strategies to use platform data, derived signals, models, scores, metadata, aggregated data, de-identified data, and transformed outputs to develop, improve, market, license, commercialize, or sell current or future Sapphire Strategies products and services, subject to applicable law and any written client agreement.

Client Authority and Notice

Clients represent that they have the authority, rights, consents, notices, contracts, or other lawful basis required to provide data to SapphireConnect and to allow Sapphire Strategies to process that data for platform operation, Data Central improvement, CRM functionality, outreach activation, reporting, and compliance controls. Clients are responsible for honoring campaign, committee, PAC, organizational, contractual, and legal restrictions that apply to their data or outreach.

Operational and Aggregated Learning

Sapphire Strategies may use operational signals and aggregated, de-identified, modeled, scored, enriched, appended, inferred, or otherwise transformed platform data to improve models, rules, quality controls, deliverability monitoring, abuse prevention, reporting, product features, commercial data products, enrichment services, and Data Central intelligence. Sapphire Strategies will not intentionally disclose a client's raw non-public audience list to another client as that other client's list unless expressly authorized, but platform-level learnings and derived outputs may improve shared infrastructure, future products, paid offerings, and data quality systems.

No Guarantee of Delivery

Email delivery, inbox placement, provider availability, domain reputation, and recipient engagement are affected by external systems. SapphireConnect provides orchestration and controls but does not guarantee delivery, placement, conversions, or fundraising results.

Account Security

Users must protect access links, sessions, and credentials. Shared accounts, unauthorized access, or attempts to bypass role-based permissions may result in access removal.

Changes

Sapphire Strategies may update these terms as the platform, law, provider requirements, or operational controls evolve. Continued use after updates means acceptance of the updated terms.
